Update
Hello! Very sorry for neglecting this space, so here's a quick and short update! :D
1. Media Club Leadership Camp 2009 (19 - 21 December)
Booked in on the 18th (Friday) for Day Zero. Met up with Wei Jie and Arnold at 1000, settled in and went Plaza Sing to get a few more logistics. Practically running around during the whole camp for the preparations of various activities, logistics and food etc. Seemed disorganized at times, but things get done mostly on time. Pretty tired out, but seeing how the campers participated proactively in the camp, I guessed all the efforts were worth it. :)
2. Little kiddos visit. (23 December)
Mum called some of my little cousins over to my place to have some sort of a pre-X'mas party. Food, sweets and toy guns. Yes, I'm pretty glad that my toy guns from the past come in handy! Haha. Walked over to Bottle Tree Park in the afternoon and had some drinks. There's a playground over there with a swing. Its been ages since I last sat on a swing. And seeing how the kids played, all the troubles and woes, worries and whatsnot seemed to be flunked all the way out. Just that moment of innocence. If only we could not grow up.
3. Christmas gang! (25 December)
Hello X'mas. As planned, went to Orchard to see lights with the some of the Leadership Camp Comm. (Chor Sheng, Wei Jie, Irdianty, Arnold, Wei Sze). Waited for Chor Sheng to knock off from work at 1820 before walking around in Taka to find a dining place. In the end, we decided to walk to Plaza Sing to get our dinner. This is my first time walking down Orchard Road during X'mas, so yep. Talked and crapped along the way. Went to Manhattan fish market for dinner, then went home.
4. Badminton (26 December)
Played badminton at Cheng San CC with Daniel, Deshawn and Yong Jian. Its been awhile since I touched the racquet. Pretty good experience. Oh yes! Daniel's shuttlecocks are really good.
5. 05' Class Gathering
Okie, its not really a gathering. Met up with Mabel and Clarinda at AMK MRT. Trained to Orchard and went to Seoul Garden for lunch! I remembered last time I went Seoul Gard was during the time before I went for my study break. Spammed a lot of chicken! Thanks Mabel for helping to clear much of it also. Wei Ting came halfway, then went off at around 1500. Decided to walk to 313 Somerset to find Gasper. Crapped a little with him, then Joseph came as well. Went to Uniqlo afterwards, then movie was supposed to be next on the list. But I forgot to bring my specs this afternoon, so sorry! Thought of going to either Wei Ting or my place to watch DVD, but afterwards we decided to head to National Museum to see the Mummy exhibition! Suggestion by Mabel and Joseph haha. So trained to Dhoby Ghaut and walked there. Admission was free for students I think, so thats the start of our "Educational Tour" of the day. The exhibits were mainly on the artifacts like statues, and also mummies of small crocodiles and a mummy. Pretty interesting, students may want to visit as its complimentary. Went to other exhibits before leaving. Trained back to AMK with Mabel, Clarinda and Joseph. Hawker centre, ordered half chicken and sugar cane. Talked alot haha, just like the old days.
Going for badminton tmr morning, and hopefully afternoon I could get some house keeping done. Tmr's 29 already, soon the year closes. Perhaps I could talk more about it tmr or smth.
Till then, good night.
Oh wait!
