Today marks the first week of my post exam. Looking back, I think time really does flies. Anyway, today was also the first day where I didn't have a pre-planned day schedule. Plans were made for the past few days that I had spent, but today was one of those where I woke up without having even one single agenda for the day. Its been a long, long time since I had such a luxury of doing so actually. No more intensive mugging, exercises on TYS etc. etc. Although I had read about how people continued doing their TYS after the 'O' Levels, but I doubt I would do such a thing. I think I deserve this break.

Slept till around 8+ this morning and had breakfast before mum went off for her part-time work. Sat in front of the screen and did my usual surfed on those forums and websites I frequent. Came 10am, I suddenly thought of going to Yishun Dam for some photography. It was one of my plans during the Wednesday afternoon I believed, but was shelved in the end. So I hurriedly maintained my bicycle and packed the necessary equipment before heading out. Took me a good 13 minutes or so to cycle there. Halfway through, the sky started to drizzle a little and I took the gamble to continue on. As I reached the location and stopped, I realized the importance of working out and keeping fit already. I'm more or less out of my breath with my whole shirt soaking. Took a couple of pictures here and there, but didn't really have the idea or theme to follow on. There was this stray dog that I came upon there, who seemed to be undisturbed by the traffic there, oblivious to its surroundings and took the road for its own. And I think he liked me, as I gather whether should I sacrifice my tripod should it chase after me. Luckily the worst didn't happened. Just before I left, there's this guy on a bike that asked me for directions. Cycling back was much better as compared to the journey there I thought. It might be the fact that there were more downhills I guessed. I thought I was so lucky this morning, because just after I carried my bicycle back into the house, the unexpected downpour came. It would be so disastrous if I was caught in that. The second lucky chance was after I uploaded the pictures from the camera. Just as I swung my chair around, the hand-bar kind of grabbed the camera strap along and the camera bungeed from the table. So lucky, as I managed to grab it by the strap and saving it from the impact. In the end I got a slight cut on my hand from the attempt. Guessed its the price for being so careless.

After lunch, I managed to finally start on working the 3rd 1:24 plastic car model kit that I bought before the examinations. Hoped to achieve a better end-product this time round, as previously those models weren't really that realistic due to the lack of respective paints and liveries. This time round, I decided to give it a try at painting. Hope everything turns out well in the end.

Late afternoon was spent visiting my grandma at IMH area. If I hasn't mentioned, she's currently residing in one of the nursing homes in that area, so you would probably find me frequenting that area quite often. I found myself uncontrollably napping for awhile on the chair. And it kind of brought back memories from the past, also around this time of the year. Guessed I could really sleep when there's nothing else to do. Memories do flash back once in awhile, and I guessed its only natural. But the difference now is that it no longer haunts me now. I look forward to my new perspective and direction now... :)

Tomorrow is a Saturday. Perhaps I could finish up the car model kit real soon. Will post pictures up once its done! Meanwhile, below are some photographs taken this afternoon:
